Make sure your car, boat or caravan is moved if needed prior to the bin being delivered and that car keys are available for vehicles on site if needed. Please allow sufficient access for trucks, so driveways need to be at least a width of 2.4 metres and height clearances of 2.7 metres for 2m³, 3m³, 4m³ skip bins. As for the 6m³, 10m³ and 20cm³ bins a width of 2.7 metres and height clearance 4 metres.
Make sure that there are no over hanging trees, roof eves etc. which may affect the truck’s access to positioning the bin onsite.
No. The operator will endeavour to place the bin in your requested position. Moving the bin in most instances prevents the recovery of the bin & will result in extra charges for yourself & having to empty the bin out before it is moved again. Sometimes the skip bin cannot be placed where you want. This may be due to overhanging trees, powerlines or sloping ground.
If concerned about any damage to the driveway best to lay down some timber bearers for bin sit on top or apply for council permit if property allows no other access. Otherwise we do offer a same day delivery and pickup service.
Please consider that the trucks are heavy and even heavier on the pickup of the bins, so make sure that the driveway and lawn areas are not vulnerable to the excessive weight of the truck.
